6 Weeks Old

Time is already flying! It's great to be able to spend quality time with the family even though it goes so fast. I definitely have a new appreciation for the work it takes to care for Madalyn all day long, and I wouldn't have it any other way. She is still a very well-behaved baby, and it is exciting to watch her slowly become more active and alert. Of course, we still manage to take more pictures of her sleeping...

Family time

Dad is off of work for the next two weeks and looking forward to more family time (and more time to take pictures of his favorite subject!). Here is the latest round of photos.

One Month Old!

It's hard to believe that our little one is over a month old now! Not that she seems all that excited about it...

GranDi and Grandpa BF have returned for a quick visit. Madalyn and GranDi continue to bond...

Madalyn is getting into the Christmas spirit...

We continue to receive wonderful baby gifts. Thank you to everyone for your generosity. A special shout out to "Aunt" MG and "Uncle" Ray for the shoes...

We'll let Madalyn decide for herself what college to attend in 18 years or so, but for now she appears to be a Ducks fan.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Mac!

Grandma and Grandpa returned home on Monday after a nice weekend visit. Thank you to my Mom and Dad for all of your help with the cooking, deep housecleaning, and babysitting time. It was great seeing you. We're glad you were able to meet your granddaughter so soon after her arrival, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Meeting Grandma and Grandpa "Mac"

Madalyn finally met her Grandma and Grandpa McFarland ("Mac") yesterday afternoon.

As you can see, she was very excited...maybe not quite as much as Grandma and Grandpa were. It is great having my folks here to see her (and us) for a few days. Here are a couple of other pictures from the last day or two.
